What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
My favorite Bible verse has always been Philippians 4:13, “I can do everything through him who gives me strength.” God gives us the strength to see beyond our circumstances. God has won the victory so we can truly do all things through Him

Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew up in a small town in Ohio. I have lived in Ohio and South Carolina. Go Buckeyes!

What do you love about serving at MRCA?
I love serving at MRCA because it is a wonderful big family! I enjoy working closely with the faculty and staff. I am fortunate to be able to share and talk about our Lord and Savior with the students and families.

Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
I would like to meet Angela Lansbury. Her career has lasted seven decades!

What are your hobbies?
Some of my hobbies are cooking, antiquing, exercising, entertaining, watching Hallmark movies, and spending time with family and friends.

What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
One of the best vacations that I ever took was to Ireland. My husband was working in Afghanistan so we met in Ireland. Another couple went for the first week, and we had a fabulous time in Dublin and on the eastern coast. We enjoyed the castles, gardens, gorgeous green fields, beautiful country, quaint towns, and cute little B&B’s. It was wet, but always green

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
My favorite way to spend a weekend is to hang out with family and friends. There is always food involved in our time. I love to watch Hallmark movies while I grade papers and do household chores.

Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
There are so many great Bible stories that have touched my life, but I would say the story of Joseph and his brothers. What Joseph’s brothers meant for evil, God used for good. Joseph did not hold a grudge against his brothers, and God worked in a mighty way.
