What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Isaiah 64:8 “But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we are the work of Your hand.” God created each and every one of us beautifully unique. As an artist who is experienced in pottery, it is so humbling to know that we were created by a God who is intentional about the biggest to the most intricate of details when He created us.
Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana. I attended college at the U of A in Fayetteville, AR. After college I lived in Austin, TX, for a brief period prior to moving to Greenville, SC.
What do you love about serving at MRCA?
What I love most about MRCA is the faculty and staff. They truly are family! They aren’t just people that you work along side but that you invest in a life with.
Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
Vincent Van Gogh… I’d really like to understand why he cut off his ear.
What are your hobbies?
Entertaining my Husky, thrift shopping, being in the kitchen, and just about anything ART (the messier the better)
What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
The summer before my senior year of high school, my family took a road trip to Charleston, SC, and spent a week together. We ate a bunch of amazing food, experienced the culture, relaxed at the beach and went off shore fishing where I caught a four-and-a-half-foot-long Bonnet Head Shark! (bucket list item)
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Relaxing with my husband and husky
