What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” I love the truth that Jesus’ atonement has paid the price for our sin and we can serve Him realizing that He has forgiven us completely.
Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I was born in Georgia, and my family moved many times when I was young. I have lived in the states of Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and South Carolina.
What do you love about serving at MRCA?
I love the fact that God has created each of us in a unique and wonderful way, and we have to freedom to teach our students in the ways that they learn the best.
Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
What are your hobbies?
Cook, bake, do yardwork and sew
What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
The best vacation that I have taken was to Madrid and Salamanca Spain. My husband and I visited our daughter and son-in-law when they were living there. It was wonderful being in another culture and having the best tour guides who spoke Spanish!
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
I love spending time with family, especially with my first grandbaby, and watching old movies.
Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
My favorite Bible passage is the conversion of Paul on the road to Damascus. It is amazing to think about how God changed Paul, and what Paul did to spread God’s Word. This gives up hope that God will use us as well.
