What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Hebrew 12:1-2. These verses are about running the Christian life with patience and endurance. I think these concepts are applicable to all areas of life as a Christian, including sports, music, etc.

Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew up in Albemarle, NC, and Augusta, GA. I’ve also lived in TN for a year.

What do you love about serving at MRCA?
I love seeing growth and change in students as they progress each year. Middle school is a great time where students are learning, coming into their own, and realizing the truth of the Gospel for the first time as individuals.

Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
I would most want to meet Theodore Roosevelt. I think he lived an amazingly interesting life and became president during a unique time in American history.

What are your hobbies?
Music, volleyball, reading, hiking, eating

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Being with friends, having an adventure, and then having some quiet time to myself to read and think.

Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
Esther’s story about using circumstances to recognize God’s preeminence and allowing Him to use her during trying times has particularly grown my faith.
