What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Ephesians 3:20-21 because it is so encouraging and reminds me that we can depend on God to amaze us with His faithfulness!

Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew up just outside of Orlando, FL, attended college in Atlanta, GA, lived in Fairfax, VA, for a few years after graduating, and then moved to Greenville in 2000.

What do you love about serving at MRCA?
The students! I love to get to know my students and see them gain confidence as they try new things in P.E. class. I especially love the way they cheer each other on and celebrate their accomplishments together.

Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
Mary. It would be interesting to hear about Jesus and His life, death, and resurrection from her perspective.

What are your hobbies?
Going to my kids soccer, basketball, and volleyball games! Plus reading, exercise, and working on home projects.

What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
Our family spent three weeks in Alaska and did a lot of exploring, including kayaking, a glacier hike, and a halibut fishing trip. A fun adventure!

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
With my family! Outdoors working in the yard, shooting baskets, playing tennis, or hiking – followed by a good movie with popcorn (and M&M’s mixed in!).

Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
I love the stories of Jesus showing so much compassion to people who were hurting…the leper, the lame man, the woman at the well…and knowing that they were forever changed by Him.
