What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Joshua 1:9. Because the LORD is with us wherever we go we do not need to be afraid and we are not alone. In context, seeing Joshua walk with God in a personal relationship is what I strive for. Knowing that the LORD is WITH me is a truth that remind myself to stand by.

Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew up in New Jersey and have also lived in Pennsylvania and South Florida.

What do you love about serving at MRCA?
I appreciate the emphasis on the heart and mind. Academics are a priority as well as the heart and mind of students, staff and families. I am proud to serve alongside an incredible administration and staff whose passion is to create a loving school community.

Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
I have met this person. His name is Sonny Sandoval, lead singer of the band, P.O.D. He was my role model as a teen and a good friend today. I’m thankful for his influence in my life and hope to give this back to others.

What are your hobbies?
Time with my family and my closest friends, traveling and exploring new places, playing drums and making music, writing and experiencing life fully.

What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
When I was 16 years old I took a missions trip to Peru, South America that changed my perspective on so many things. I visited Peru four years consecutively and developed a love for people and diverse cultures that remains strong today.

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Either a planned trip with a lot of adventure, supporting the local community, or a simple weekend with absolutely no plans. I love time with my family.

Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
There are many. I have been moved by the power of God in the lives of people like Gideon, Moses, Hannah, Joshua and others. We’re given the guidance and then we watch what He does. Even when it seems impossible we get a front row seat to watch the seemingly improbable happen right before our eyes. I also love the one another verses that encourage us to include others and think well of others in a loving community. This is love that extends eternally and exceeds the four walls of the church.
