What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds me that I don’t have to know or understand what God is or is not doing in my life. God just wants me to trust him in every area of my life.

Philippians 4:8 became very special to me during a very difficult time in my life. It helped me focus on truth instead of listening to Satan’s lies and attacks trying to get my thoughts away from God’s truth.

Where did you grow up, and where have you lived?
I grew Up in Palatine, Illinois – a northwest suburb of Chicago, Illinois. After high school, my family moved to Greenville, SC.

What do you love about serving at MRCA?
There are so many things I love about MRCA. I love the people I work with, our teachers who pour into their students every day and the enthusiasm of our students. It is so exciting to see and witness God’s hand on this ministry through its 45-year history.

Besides Jesus, who is the person you would most want to meet?
David Crowder or Lysa Terkeurst

What are your hobbies?
Working in my yard and working on home projects

What was the best vacation you ever took and why?
My husband and I visited various sites in Israel. One of my favorite places we visited was the Garden of Gethsemane.

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
Spending time with my granddaughter and spending time boating on the lake

Which Bible story has grown your faith the most?
One of the Bible stories that has grown my faith is Moses and the parting of the Red Sea. This story tells how God parted the Red Sea to protect Moses and the Israelites, and then God closed the sea again once the Israelites had crossed, drowning the entire Egyptian army. This story is a reminder that God is always leading, guiding and protecting me.
